To empower global youth communities through Canadian art and design education, driving social change with creativity and innovation.
We envision a world where interdisciplinary art catalyzes education, research, and cultural exchange. Creativity is fundamental to human progress, and artists, educators, and researchers play a crucial role in shaping inclusive, innovative, and sustainable communities.Rooted in Canada’s diverse artistic landscape, our vision is to cultivate an open and dynamic ecosystem where artistic literacy thrives, experimental practices are celebrated, and knowledge production through the arts is actively supported. Through education, exhibitions, research, archiving, and storytelling, we aim to bridge disciplines, amplify underrepresented voices, and expand public access to contemporary artistic discourse. By fostering global learning networks, artist-led initiatives, and sustainable funding models, we seek to break down barriers between artistic communities and society.
We are committed to providing resources, scholarships, and platforms that empower artists and educators to lead social change, ensuring that the arts remain a participatory and transformative force.Through our commitment to public engagement, artistic preservation, and innovation, Artivition Projects aspires to inspire future generations, strengthen cultural equity, and shape a world where art and education drive meaningful impact.
Advancing Art Through Education,
Research & Community
Artivition Projects is a community-driven organization that fosters creativity, expands artistic education, and preserves cultural heritage through interdisciplinary and site-specific art. Our mission is to empower artists, educators, and communities through the following core initiatives:
1. Curating & Showcasting Art
Exhibitions are at the heart of artistic discourse. We sponsor and organize exhibitions, performances, and immersive art experiences, creating platforms for artists to share their visions with the world. Our projects highlight cross-cultural artistic dialogues, experimental formats, and new media art.
2. Art Education & Open Resources
We believe in making art education accessible to all. Our Open Educational Resource (OER) platform offers free tools, training programs, and workshops for artists, educators, and students. We also provide internships for emerging creatives, offering hands-on experience in arts administration, curation, and interdisciplinary practices.
3. Research & Publications
Art is history in motion. Through our Exhibition Archive, we document and preserve significant site-specific and interdisciplinary art projects, ensuring that past works inspire future generations. Our research initiatives focus on analyzing trends in contemporary art, multi-disciplinary collaborations, and the evolving role of art in society.
4. Documentary Films
We tell the stories of artists and artistic movements through our documentary film projects. By capturing art's creative process and societal impact, we ensure these narratives are preserved and shared with wider audiences.
5. Representation & Advocacy
Artists need support beyond the studio. We advocate for local and international artists working in Canada, connecting them with cultural institutions, funding opportunities, and residency programs. We also share vital information about grants writing, scholarships, fellowships, and artist open calls.
6. Internships & Scholarships
We support the next generation of global artists by offering Intership programs, scholarships, bursaries, and awards to international students studying at Canadian arts institutions.
7. Fundraising
To ensure the longevity of our programs and artistic initiatives, we host fundraisers, philanthropic events, and community-driven campaigns that provide financial support to artists, educators, and students.
